01 Rebrand

Sprig, formerly EZ PEDO, is the nation’s leading supplier of biocompatible pediatric dental supplies. Although they were expanding their product o ering, the market still knew them as the makers of the first pediatric zirconia crown. With increasing competition and a go-to-market approach entirely focused on their crown line, EZ PEDO needed a new brand and marketing strategy that could support their growth.

02 Research

First we conducted a combination of qualitative and quantitative market research to better understand the pediatric dental products market. We interviewed customers and did a close study of competitors. The team re-positioned Sprig around dental technology and innovation, both of which are largely lacking in pediatric dentistry despite the increasing focus on tech-driven solutions in healthcare writ large. To refocus the company on new growth and new ideas, the name was changed to Sprig. The company’s marketing, thought leadership and product pricing strategies were all updated to reflect this new focus.

03 Implementation

Based on this strategy, we implemented a comprehensive rebranding of the company. The project included a robust implementation phase including;

04 Results

The rebrand resulted in a significant boost in earned press coverage and increased inquiries from customers at trade events. And, although the rebrand occurred recently, Sprig is already starting to see heightened interest in its new products.
